Learnings are created when you ignore security issues in the web panel. They help Vidoc avoid showing similar false positives in future scans.

How It Works

When you ignore an issue:
  1. Navigate to the Issues page
  2. Select an issue and click “Ignore”
  3. Provide a reason for ignoring
  4. Vidoc creates a learning that applies to all future issues
Learnings help reduce noise by filtering out similar false positives automatically.

Viewing Learnings

The Learnings page shows all learnings created from ignored issues. Each learning displays:
  • Learning ID - Unique identifier
  • Reason - Why the issue was ignored
  • Creation Date - When it was created
  • Applied Issues - Issues where this learning is currently applied
Click on a learning to see which issues it’s applied to and review the original context.

  • Provide clear reasons when ignoring issues to create better learnings
  • Review learnings periodically to understand what’s being filtered
